PhillyCHI has been invited by West Chester University to meet with students to discuss opportunities in the field of user experience. We’ve put together a small group of practitioners to present an introduction to user experience as a career and to discuss our personal experiences, detailing how we ended up in our current line of work.
The panel will be made up of PhillyCHI members who work in user experience but whose undergraduate work was not in design, information systems, or HCI in order to demonstrate the possibilities of finding a career in user experience from other backgrounds.
We’d like to encourage PhillyCHI members to attend, as this event is part of PhillyCHI’s outreach initiative. The evening will end with Q&A, so the more perspectives in the room, the better.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending the event, please feel free to forward this information on.
